It grew out of my desire to have a unique custom instrument that reflects my personality and heritage. After scouring the Western US, Asia and the internet from 2000 to 2004. I found a Luthier from my homeland the Philippines who agreed to make an instrument of my own design. The instrument took a year to make. When it arrived, he was true to his word. The tone was to die for. After a few modifications, I finally got it to where I could use it for performances. So for two years, I performed with it all over the NY/NJ and DC/VA areas. Then in March 2008, I was driving home to Seattle,WA. I was in a car accident near Sioux City, SD. The guitar of my dreams was broken. After arriving in Washington State, I decided to make the replacement myself. In August 8, 2008, I established the N.S. Ramirez Guitars. Maker of Custom Doubleneck Teardrop Guitar.
