I have an old inexpensive guitar, the Alvarez Wildwood Folk 5016, but it just has a very special sound on my recordings, and the feel of the neck is absolutely like butter.
Alvarez Wildwood Folk 5016 Acoustic Guitar Specs from the Alvarez tech guys:
The Alvarez 5016 wildwood Folk was produced for a few years in the late 1980's (1986-88 as best we can tell).
It has a cedar top, with laminated mahogany back & sides. The fingerboard & bridge are rosewood. List price of $389 when new (middle-end of 1980's). Nothing in the current Alvarez line is quite like this, the cedar top was a bit unusual.
I am trying to find other Alvarez Wildwood Folk 5016 Acoustic Guitars.
